Cancellation & Refund Policy

This Cancellation & Refund Policy applies to all bookings made with Endurance Escapes Ltd ("we", "us", "our"). It is designed to be fair, transparent, and clear for both participants and guides.

1. Participant Cancellations

If you need to cancel your booking, the following terms apply based on the start date of the escape:

  • More than 14 days before the start date: Full refund, minus any non-refundable costs already incurred (e.g. accommodation or permits, where applicable, and Stripe payment fees).
  • 7–14 days before the start date: 50% refund of the total booking price.
  • Less than 7 days before the start date: No refund.

2. Transfers

You may transfer your booking to another person, subject to:

  • Our approval
  • The replacement participant meeting fitness and experience requirements

Transfers must be requested in writing.

3. Minimum Numbers

Some escapes require a minimum number of participants. If minimum numbers are not met, we may:

  • Offer an alternative date
  • Offer a credit
  • Provide a full refund

4. Cancellations or Changes by Endurance Escapes

We reserve the right to cancel or modify an escape due to:

  • Unsafe weather conditions
  • Track closures
  • Safety concerns
  • Guide illness
  • Other circumstances beyond our control

If we cancel an escape, you will be offered:

  • A full refund, or
  • A credit for a future escape

We are not responsible for any additional costs incurred by participants, including travel, accommodation, or insurance.

5. Weather-Related Changes

  • Our activities take place in natural environments.
  • Routes, distances, or schedules may be adjusted for safety reasons.
  • These changes do not qualify for refunds.

6. Illness or Injury

We strongly recommend that participants hold appropriate travel or personal insurance. Refunds are not provided for illness, injury, or personal circumstances unless otherwise stated. Under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, where services are not provided with reasonable care, skill, or as described, you may be entitled to a remedy regardless of this policy.

7. Credits

  • Credits are valid for 12 months from the date of issue.
  • Credits are non-transferable unless agreed otherwise.
  • Credits have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for money.

8. How to Request a Cancellation

All cancellation requests must be made in writing via email. The date your email is received will be used to determine the applicable cancellation terms.
